Jillian Mayer brings ceramics, glass and metal into a window exhibition where sculpture meets functional design.
The plan
Jillian Mayer brings ceramics, glass and metal into a window exhibition where sculpture meets functional design. The objects are made in small runs, with variations that reflect studio fabrication rather than mass production. The display is part of Oolite’s Windows at Walgreens program at 67th Street and Collins Avenue. It offers a specific contemporary-art destination during a North Beach walk, accessible from the street rather than a gallery room. Look closely at surfaces and the relationship between usefulness and sculptural form, then compare how an artwork changes when encountered in an everyday commercial setting.
Exhibition dates
On view October 7, 2026–January 10, 2027. This guide shows the remaining dates from November 4.
What to look for
A street-facing window installation at the stated Walgreens intersection. This is a different location from the Lincoln Road gallery.
