Willie Báez introduces small handmade books using simple binding and non-stitching methods.
The plan
Willie Báez introduces small handmade books using simple binding and non-stitching methods. Starting with a square sheet, participants can combine drawing, painting, collage and printmaking to shape pages and covers. The course is designed for all experience levels, taught in English and Spanish, and limited to ten people. It is an appealing focused afternoon for someone who wants a tangible project rather than another gallery visit. Materials are included, with optional personal items welcome if you want your book to carry a particular story. Register early because the class needs minimum enrollment to run.
