Mr. Pauer and special guests bring a free holiday edition of North Beach Social to the Bandshell.
The plan
Mr. Pauer and special guests bring a holiday edition of North Beach Social to the Bandshell. The Miami-based Venezuelan producer combines electronic production and live percussion in his Electrópico sound. Sweat Records and an Electropical clothing pop-up add browsing to the musical evening. This is a useful December plan for friends who want a free entry point into local nightlife without buying a concert ticket.
Before you go
Doors open at 7pm for the 8pm performance. The listing welcomes all ages and asks for a free RSVP. Admission is free, while records, clothing, food and drinks are optional purchases.
Getting there & the venue
The Bandshell is an open-air venue under a canopy, so dress for the evening rather than for an air-conditioned theater. Its municipal lot is across Collins Avenue at 73rd Street and costs $2 an hour. Outside food and drinks are not allowed; there is a water refill station inside. Allow extra time for parking and ticket scanning, especially if you want to be settled before the opening performance.
Before you go
Arrive during the doors period if you want to browse the pop-ups before focusing on the performance.
