Pair gallery time with the waterfront setting; choose Thursday after 5pm when keeping the outing inexpensive.
The plan
Make time for modern and contemporary art in a waterfront building that is part of the experience. PAMM’s paid daytime visit and free Thursday evening offer different ways to use the same museum. Children six and younger are free; selected eligibility programs also waive admission. Galleries close on Tuesday and Wednesday. The museum recommends advance tickets and stops admitting visitors 30 minutes before closing.
The useful free-admission window
Thursday admission is free after 5pm and the museum remains open until 9pm, making it a substantial evening visit. Regular adult admission is $18. Selected groups also qualify for free admission, including visitors identifying as disabled and their caregivers, with other eligibility details on the official page.
Know which day you are booking
Tuesday and Wednesday are closed. Saturday galleries close earlier, at 4:30pm; Monday, Friday and Sunday run until 6pm. Admission stops 30 minutes before closing. Look at the public-tour schedule if you prefer context from a guide, including available Spanish-language tours.
Before you go
Check the day’s closing time: Saturday galleries close at 4:30pm, while Thursday evening stays open until 9pm.
