YOUR NEXT GOOD PLAN

An easy neighborhood play stop at Tatum Park

North Beach · FamilyDaily · sunrise–sunset
Recreation pavilion and open space at Tatum Park

Playground time, an open field and room for a casual ball game in North Beach.

The plan

Tatum Park works well for a simple family outing when a full day on the sand sounds like too much. The neighborhood park combines a shaded playground with an open field and sports areas, so you can choose a little movement without buying an activity package. Bring the equipment you plan to use and expect to share the space with local families. This is an everyday recreation stop rather than an organized children's program with supervision provided.

Play and facilities

The city lists a playground for ages 2–12 with rubber surfacing, a basketball court, an outdoor fitness station and two sand volleyball courts. Accessible areas, water fountains, pavilion restrooms, picnic tables and benches support a longer stop if everyone is comfortable.

Before making plans

General opening is sunrise–sunset every day. Perimeter parking is available subject to posted rules. Pavilion reservations are separate paid arrangements; an ordinary visit does not reserve a table or court. Programmed activities, maintenance and other users can affect which spaces are available.

Before you go

Keep snacks, water and a ball in one small bag. A low-effort neighborhood outing often works better than a tightly timed itinerary.
